Overview

Lueur is a high-end fragrance brand positioned in the luxury lifestyle segment. The project’s primary goal was to create a complete visual identity and packaging system that communicates elegance, sophistication, and timeless beauty. The brand name “Lueur,” meaning “glow” or “soft light” in French, became the foundation of the design language — soft, luminous, and refined.

Objectives

  • Build a distinctive and elegant brand identity that stands out in the luxury perfume market.

  • Create packaging that evokes a sense of subtle light, modern romance, and refined minimalism.

  • Ensure cohesive branding across all touchpoints — from logo to box, bottle, and promotional materials.

  • Develop a scalable design system suitable for future product lines.

Concept & Inspiration

The concept draws inspiration from the golden glow of sunset, combined with French minimalist elegance. Lueur’s aesthetic focuses on clean lines, soft gold accents, and translucent materials, aiming to deliver an experience that feels both delicate and premium.

Typography plays a key role in reinforcing the luxurious image — a custom serif logotype paired with thin sans-serif body text creates a balance between modern and classic.

Design Process

Research & Moodboard – Explored luxury perfume trends, competitive analysis, and visual inspiration from French fashion houses.

Logo & Visual Identity – Designed a bespoke serif wordmark, minimal monogram, and soft gold color palette to reflect subtle elegance.

Packaging Exploration – Developed multiple bottle shapes and box mockups, focusing on glass finishes, embossed details, and foil stamping.

Prototyping – Finalized a frosted glass bottle with a rounded rectangular shape, complemented by a matte black cap and golden foil accents.

Brand Collateral – Extended identity to promotional cards, tissue wrap, and launch event invitations.

Final Design

  • Bottle: Frosted glass with engraved logo, black matte cap, and soft gold detail.

  • Box: Minimalist ivory box with gold foil stamping, embossed logo, and a soft-touch finish.

  • Typography: Custom serif logo + light sans-serif body text.

  • Color Palette: Ivory, soft gold, black matte — elegant and timeless.
